11 Day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – City tour of Marrakech - Night in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport and welcome by our team.
Private transfer to the hotel.
Depending on arrival time, possibility of an initial city tour.
Accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 2: High Atlas - Kasbah Ait Benhaddou - Noche en Ouarzazate

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure south, crossing the High Atlas.
We will cross the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with stops for photographs.
Visit to the Duglaoui Kasbah in Tamdakhte.
Exploration of the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for iconic films.
Lunch in Ait Ben Haddou.
Visit to the Tifoultoute Kasbah.
Overnight stay and dinner in Ouarzazate.

Day 3: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Amridil - Dades Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to the Taourirt Kasbah and the film museums.
Explore the Amridil Kasbah.
Continue to the Valley of Roses, known for its rosewater production.
Arrive in the Dades Valley and enjoy the views of its impressive gorges.
Overnight stay and dinner in the Dades Valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Night in the desert

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the impressive Todra Gorge, with vertical walls up to 300 meters high.
Free time to explore.
Lunch en route.
Travel to Erfoud and from there, enter the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Camel ride to the camp.
Enjoy the sunset over the dunes.
Dinner and overnight stay at the camp under the stars.

Day 5: Off-road tour around the Sahara desert

Sunrise over the dunes.
Breakfast at camp.
Day dedicated to desert activities.
Lunch.
Optional: quad biking excursion in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel with a pool in the desert.

Day 6: Desert – Excursion – Merzouga

Return by camel to the outer dunes.
Desert excursion: visit to Hassi Lbied, Merzouga, Khamlia (with Gnawa music), and a fossil site.
Lunch (optional picnic or Berber pizza).
Hotel accommodation with pool and free time to relax.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Enjoying the desert and hotel facilities

Free morning to enjoy the desert. Either relaxing at the hotel (they offer several services) or enjoying optional desert activities.

Day 8: Desert - Agdaz - Ouarzazate

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Ouarzazate, with a stop in Tamegroute to see the green pottery.
Walk through the Draa Valley, famous for its date palms and groves.
Arrival in Ouarzazate.
Overnight stay and dinner in Ouarzazate.

Day 9: Ouarzazate - High Atlas - Night in Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Mountains.
We cross the High Atlas again to reach Marrakech.
Accommodation at a Riad in Marrakech

Day 10: guided tour Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel.
Guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.
Optional visit to the Majorelle Gardens in the afternoon.
Accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 11: Free day - Transfer to the Airport

Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day to explore the city or shop until your flight departs.
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
