Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas - Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Our 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fez begins at 8:30 a.m. from Marrakech. First, we’ll experience a breathtaking drive through the High Atlas Mountains, which rise to over 2,200 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views and charming Berber villages.
Our first major stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Berber architecture. This site has been featured in numerous Hollywood films and television series, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.
We’ll continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you’ll have the option to visit the famous Atlas Studios, known for its involvement in the production of numerous renowned international films.
The tour continues through the Valley of Roses, famous for its lush rose plantations, and continues to the spectacular Dades Gorges. We’ll stop at the rock formation known as “Monkey’s Fingers.” Finally, we’ll enjoy an overnight stay in a hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades – Todra gorge – Merzouga desert

After enjoying a freshly prepared breakfast at the desert camp, you will return to the edge of the dunes by camel or 4×4 vehicle.
The tour departs for Fez. En route to Fez, you will enjoy panoramic views as you pass through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves. Here, you will have a short break to relax. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in cedar forests where you can observe Barbary macaques. Your next stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture. This will be your last stop and hike before arriving in Fez. The tour concludes in Fez, marking the end of the 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fez.
